PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MELALUI TEKNIK NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS CERPEN

Abstract
The quality and quantity of education, especially in Indonesian lessons, still remains a problem in every educational institution, especially in the ability to analyze short stories. This is due to the low level of student literacy. In addition, there is an influence of the interaction of the use of models and learning techniques in analyzing short stories. This study aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning models through the numbered head together technique to improve students' short story analysis skills. Numbered head-together learning models and techniques are used because these techniques can provide motivation, and increase self-confidence, in addition to students becoming more active, so that learning Indonesian, especially learning to analyze short stories is improved. Data processing was carried out with Class Action Research (PTK) from the class XI population, by taking samples of class XI Multimedia 2 SMK Yasmida Ambarawa. This activity is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle is held once a meeting. Learning that has been carried out using a cooperative learning model and numbered head together techniques in students, the average ability to analyze short stories has improved very well. The results of the initial data research on the average value of class 72, after improvements were made in cycle I, the average value of the class increased to 80 or increased by 8 points. The implementation of the improvement was then continued in cycle II, which resulted in an increase in the average grade point of the class to 84, or an increase of 12 points from the average score of the initial data, or as many as 47.2% of students experienced an increase in the value of the ability to analyze short stories. Thus the cooperative learning model through numbered head-together learning techniques has a positive influence on learning, especially in analyzing short stories in class XI Multimedia 2 students of SMK Yasmida Ambarawa.
