SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING SEBAGAI METODE SELEKSI SISWA BERPRESTASI PADA SMA NEGERI 1 PARDASUKA PRINGSEWU

Abstract

Senior High School (SMA) 1 Pardasuka also known as SMANSAPAR is one of the public high schools in Pringsewu Regency which has a vision and mission to create outstanding students with various kinds of achievements from several criteria. So students are required to have special skills accompanied by good achievements. In this case, the selection of outstanding students must be carried out properly and correctly so that it results in the selection of high-quality and accountable students someday. A decision support system is needed to assist the selectors in determining an outstanding student. In the process of developing a decision support system to determine exceptional students at the SMA Negeri 1 Pardasuka, a decision support system is needed using the Simple Additive Weighting method. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best-achieving students from a number of outstanding students, namely by calculating based on the specified criteria, namely the average report card, class ranking, attendance (attendance), organizational activity, competition participation, morals, accumulation of violation points, achievement certificate. Based on the test results, the system built can help the selection teamwork for outstanding students, thus speeding up the selection process, reducing errors and making it easier for the selection team to determine outstanding students.
